Do I need to wait for congress to pass a bill before I get health insurance?

Health care reform is a subject of great controversy, and it is a cause of a great deal of confusion anymore.  The biggest problem that I see is that people are focusing primarily on what they dont like about the other sides plan instead of coming up with any good solutions.

This is leading to a really bad situation because many people do not know which way to turn or what to do.  Is there going to be universal healthcare?  Will the insurance companies get more leeway to charge more?  Will anything be done to fix the way the healthcare system is so screwed up?

Everyday we all hear something different, if not from the media, our neighbors and co-workers.  Its a mess, for sure, but are you doing what you need to do right now?

Simply, do you have something in place that will cover you right now.  If you can afford it, you need to have something, anything in place until something is set in stone on capitol hill.  Even when bills are passed, it takes time to put into effect.  You have got to think of yourself and your family right now, and not as much about what is being said.

Hopefully they will get the details ironed out before long, but I'm not holding my breath...
